Andy is an expert in aviation cyber-security and both a Certified Ethical Hacker and Security Incident Handler. He is also a course tutor for the EUROCAE Security Standards Course. He has extensive experience of marrying established in-service operational systems with the dynamic needs of a modern cyber-security environment. Andy is also the Secretary for EUROCAE’s ED-201 sub-group working on security frameworks applicable across the aviation industry, and on collaborative security management through information sharing. He is currently working for various European ANSPs and authorities on resilience and cyber-security.
Andy has over 13 years’ experience in aviation roles, covering the architectural and technical specification, design and operation of resilient safety critical systems, and the implementation of ISO 27001 compliant Information Security Management Systems within operational aviation environments.
